A big thanks to all the schools who took part in Blackpool International's 'Reach for the Skies' competition.

Blackpool International pledged a £5,000 prize to the secondary school which came up with the winning design for a commemorative plaque based on the theme, '100 Years of Flying from Blackpool'.

The plaque is now proudly displayed on the front of the terminal building and will be unveiled at the ceremony on 18th October.

Blackpool International also invited primary school children to compete for a £2,000 prize by designing a mural.

The winning entry can be viewed by all passengers as they move through the arrivals corridors.
