LYTHAM

In contrast to Blackpool, just along the coast is Lytham. Here you can enjoy peaceful parks and beautiful gardens. There is a fine promenade and lovely sandy beach. Close to the promenade is the famous Lytham green and windmill. Lytham has an excellent shopping centre, with many quaint shops. At Fairhaven Lake there are sailing dinghies, rowing boats and motor boats.

ST ANNES

St Annes is a traditional seaside town with a Victorian Pier, gardens and entertainment for all ages. St Anne's is famous for its Golf Links. There are four championship courses - The Royal Lytham and St Anne's, St Anne's Old Links, Fairhaven and Lytham Green Drive.

POULTON LE FYLDE

Visit the ancient market town of Poulton le Fylde. Steeped in history, Poulton is one of the Fylde's most picturesque spots. The town is famous for its stocks in the town square and magnificent displays of crocus each spring in the churchyard of St Chad's.
